330 ml bottle. Slightly unclear brown body with a dense tan head. Quite mild aroma of malt, chocolate and also pine when heated up a bit. Flavor is decent as a brown ale, medium sweet malt, some caramel, chocolate and moderate bitterness. A bit thin body but decent enough for the alcohol strength, OK aftertaste. Brown ale is not a big favorite by me, but I appreciate a good one, at least my brown ale must have a good chocolate flavor in my brown ale and this one is close enough.

Utseende: Mørk kastanje brun.
Skum/kullsyre: Dekkende skum, heng langs kant.
Smak: Rosin, krydder og en anelse røyksmak.

Pours slightly hazy reddish brown with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, nuts and biscuits. Taste is medium sweet and light to medium bitter with a long nutty, caramel and biscuit finish. Body is light to medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

Fra flaske, på lansering på Onkel Aksel, Kristiansand, sammen med Odd Gunnar: iflg den meget hyggelige bryggeren har de brukt disse maltsortene: Maris Otter pale malt, Caramalt, Crystal, Brown og Münchener 25EBC. Cascade er eneste humle. Fin mahognyfarge med godt skum som holder seg. Ristet brød, lett brente loffskorper og ristede nøtter i skjønn forening både i aroma og smak. Halvtørr. Elegant bitterhet i avslutningen.
