The aroma is bitter - sweet, intoxicating, bourbon soaked oak, vanilla, brown bread, dried fruits, toasted fruit cake, damp wood, light umam and liquorice. The taste is slick, oily, bitter - sweet, toothy, chewy, bourbon soaked oak, light tannin, sticky toffee pudding, dried fruits, raisin, sultana, brown sugar, fruit cake, warming booze, some coffee cake, light char, toasty and some alcohol warmth through the finish. Fulsome body, fine carbonation and slick mouth feel. Rich and toothy. Satisfying stuff.
