Can at home picked up from marble online. A milky golden orange coloured pour with a a sticky, loose white head. Aroma is tangy citrus, onion, dank, sweaty onion, leafy. Flavour is composed of creamy flaky wheat. Big dank, onion, tangy, juicy dank orange. Firm bitterness.. I expected a mountain ipa to be clean and crisp. Some green hop burn. Little harsh. Lingering green liquorice.

50cl can from AbeerVinum, Rimini, Italy. Pours slightly opaque, orange gold, with fine white foam. Aroma is herbal, hoppy, resinous. Body and carbonation are average. Taste is fairly bitter. Final is average.

Cask at CBC, Covent Garden on 1st March 2025. Slightly hazy amber with shallow foam and spot lacing. Solid malt and intense peel in aroma. Richly fruity in-mouth with zesty peel and a solid, nutty malt. Nutty and zesty harmonies in finish. Full bodied with a smooth mouthfeel. Superb.

Got chatting to a guy from the next town in the valley, a stranger, exactly the same age as me over this beer, but not about the beer. Interesting to see the way our lives differed. Slightly hazy gentle tropical fruity brew whilst discussing having or not having children and how 80's culture was a lived experience without knowing its cultural relevance at the time.

Panda at home, thanks to Kenneth, 10/08/24. Clear golden with a good sized lasting frothy white head. Nose is orange zest, grass, melon, crisp malts, light breads. Taste comprises orange peel, melon, soft malts, floral notes, papaya, mandarin, light pine nip. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close splashed with mellow light juice laden hop bitterness. Easy drinker ... just a little stuck in 3rd gear for this era.

Can. Pretty much a clear gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Airy palate, mildly dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Light malts, a little thin and not delivering that much sweetness. The hops seem all orange and a little mandarin to me, some peel. Not getting any Cashmere, Bru-1 or Vic. Light finish leaves a mild peel bitter linger. Clean but a little too classic West Coast style for my enjoyment.
