Can. Slightly hazy golden/amber body with a thin head that fades. Low carbonation. No lacing. Aroma of champagne and cooking apple. Flavour of tart cooking apple and vinegar. Thin to medium body with a slick texture. Soft fizz. This smelled interesting but tasted far too sharp and vinegary for my taste. I couldn’t finish it.

Panda at home, thanks to Kenneth, 09/07/24. Clear copper pour with an off white cap that thins to a swirl. Nose is light funk, green berry must, hedgerow, mellow yeast, white grape must, bubblegum. Taste comprises tangy green berries, funk, oak, herb, white wine barrel, tannins, gooseberries. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced tang. Solid work.

Can. Almost clear deepish gold beer, small head, a kinda musty pale peach. Light palate, semi dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. The Riesling BA comes through loud and clear and is the dominant character with rich and ripeish grape, slightly floral. Some vanilla oak underneath. Some traces of other fruits and very mild esters on the back end before a dry finish, the residual bits of the base Saison I guess but the barrell is the boss here. Nicely winey beer.

Can from Westhill Service Station. It pours clear amber with a small white head. The aroma is sweet, juicy, bright, zingy, sweet - sour, gooseberry, white grape, crunchy apple, hay and damp wood. The taste is crisp, dry, tart, zingy, puckering, juicy, crunchy, nip of acidity, white grape, gooseberry, tart apple, musty, damp oak, hay, dull funk, white wine and sour fizzy cola bottles with a drying, oaky finish. Medium body and moderate, fluffy carbonation. Crisp, tart, quenching. Nice white wine vibes. Very quaffable.
