Hazy gold beer, short lived pale cream colour head. Palate is light, mildly dry and has a good fine crispness. Thin malts but sweetish. Lime and chilli vibe, burns a little. Light floralness. Like sherbets. Crispy finish with an added chilli bite. Not very Saison, but that suits me fine.

Keg at CBC Holborn, 10/03/17. Light hazed on a golden amber pour with a decent beige head. Nose is caramel, floral notes, sticky toffee, nana, spice. Taste comprises yeast esters, banoffee pie, cheesecake base, light spice. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a green pepper bite. Strange one ... overly sweet for a saison but interesting flavour profile and balanced with chilli heat.

Tap@Craft Beer Co, Covent Garden, London - Amber golden pour with white head. Aroma and taste is malty and yeasty with some rough peppery chilli heat, graasy hoppy spice infused finish.

330ml bottle from Mitchells, Meadowhead - Hazy amber body, not much in the way of a head. Nose picks out the tomato, and hints of the Hendo’s, with a bit of breadiness. Taste has a decent spicy kick to it, chilli hits at the end, sweetness of the Hendersons carries it through. Novel little combo this one. P.S - I’m one of those that’s heard of Hendo’s!

Bottle, Beer Central, Sheffield. Dark orange. Deep haze. Film of white head. Smells a lot like a watered down Bloody Mary. Spicy tomato. Hint of celery. Hint of the Henderson’s relish (there’s probably only 3 or 4 people on RB who’ve heard of Hendo’s). Soft, estery, bready backdrop. Touch of savoury smoke from somewhere, too. Smells great. Taste is sweet and slightly savoury. Some salinity. Medium body, with foamy carbonation. Gentle chilli heat. Sweet, savoury and slightly smoky finish. Nice one. Works really well.
