Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from the brewery taproom. Pours clear yellow-gold with a big, fluffy, pure white head. Lightly sweet with notes of dried haircuts, pale grain, straw, grass, earth, a nip of dried lemon peel. Light bodied with massaging carbonation. Earthy and grassy finish, reasonably bitter, more crispy biscuits. Very nice pils.

Another lost notes rating. This is an easy one as it was the worst Kernel pils I've had. The malts were a bit sweet, the palate a little flacid and the Enigma hops were not doing much. It's not terrible by any means, but this one, for me, fell well short of their previous pils. Disappointing.

Bottle at home picked up from Kernel Arch 7. Aclear bright yellow gold coloured pour with a lasting rocky white head. Aroma is nice rustic cereals, straw, nettle, herbal hop, grass. Flavour is composed of earthy cereal, rustic, firm grassy bitterness, cut grass. Palate is semi crisp, airy carbonation, Nice pils.

Bottle. Kernel online. Soft haze on a yellow gold. Nicely sticky Kernel swede. Bready and malty. Cereals. Very light on the hops. Trace of lemon peel maybe. Easy drinking with brisk to foamy carbonation. Some dryness. Light bitter finish. It’s decent enough.
