Can from House of Trembling Madness. It pours pretty clear golden - blonde with a thick, fluffy white head. The aroma is quite spicy, floral, leafy, grass, doughy white bread, sponge cake and custard creams. The taste is crisp as, dry, snappy, some grassy bitterness, floral accents, peppery spice, leafy, farmhouse white bread loaf malt base, touch of biscuit and hay with a dry finish. Medium body, moderate lively carbonation and lovely fluffy mouth feel. Avery flavourful and satisfying. Moreish.

Can, picked up at the brewery. I was torn between adding this as a Helles or a Festbier. It’s kind of between the two. Dunno. Whatever. Pale orange amber with a light haze. Off white, full on chunky foam is lasting and semi lacing. Looks glorious. Nose has fresh toasty malts. Hint of sourness. Dough. Spicy floral hop leaf to the point of smelling woody. Taste has a bready sweetness with a big hit of spicy hop bitterness. Smooth and clean on the palate with soft carbonation. Lingering bitterness to finish. This just drinks itself really. Sublime beer that’s possibly one of St. Mars’ best so far.
