Hazy orange gold, small pale cream colour head. Hazy orange gold beer, good pale cream colour head. Palate is light and has a good fine minerally crispness. Light malts, a light creamy sweetness. Lovely bright hops. Bright mandarin and tangerine. Bright pine. The Huell Melon (now largely ignored by most brewers) bring a melony tropical fruits vibe. Crisp pine runs throughout. Light crisp finish. Ah yeah, one of those Kernel beers that just sing. Lovely!

500ml bottle from HoTM. It pours clear pale gold with a fluffy white head. The fresh, fruity, zingy lemon grapefruit, melon, gooseberry, lime, sherbet, papaya and bready. The taste is crisp and firm, dry and rather bitter which lingers throughout, grapefruit, pithy, zesty, zingy, lemon rind, fragrant, piney, grassy, resinous, peppery spice, touch of melon and papaya with a drying, lingering bitterness. Medium body and soft, massaging carbonation. Absolutely lovely stuff. Interesting, quaffable and moreish.

Keg at Mother Kelly’s Bethnal Green - London. Pours clear gold with a modest, creamy white head. Lightly sweet, great balance, mellow pale bread, grapefruit, bitter straw, lemon rind. Light bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Subtly resinous finish, more clean pale malts, bread crust, citrus rind. Massively drinkable.
