Bicho do Mato é uma cerveja muito especial, de "especiada", mas também temperada com a cabeça, o tronco e os membros do enfant terrible da gastronomia portuguesa. O chef Ljubomir Stanisic juntou-se à Cerveja Letra para criar esta IPA Imperial Rye encorpada, robusta, equilibrada e até inusitada (com aroma cítrico e tropical), com malte de cevada, trigo, aveia e centeio, e com lúpulos americanos Mosaic, Citra e Summit.

Bicho do Mato is a very special, from "spiced", beer, but also seasoned with the head, the trunk and the members of the "enfant terrible" of the Portuguese gastronomy. Chef Ljubomir Stanisic joined Cerveja Letra to creat this massive and hugely hopped Imperial Rye IPA (with American hops Mosaic, Citra and Summit)

Cerveja elaborada com input do mítico chefe Ljubomir. Espuma descolorada. Retenção média/curta. Aroma a caramelo e frutos tropicais.Encorpada.Cor de âmbar. Pinheiro, toranja,final prolongado e amargo com o álcool a fazer se notar um pouco.

Clear golden, small white head. Piney, caramely and grapefruity aroma. Bittersweet flavour, more pine, malt, light permfumy notes. No rye, really. Slightly warming finish.

Draft. A golden beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of hops, citrus fruits, malt, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, straw, citrus fruits, and hops, leading to a bitter finish.

Re-rating (previous 3.1). Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 21B - Rye IPA). Bottle 33 cl - Batch L137/2019 (BBF 02/2021). AROMA: medium-low hop aroma with citric and pine notes that fades, giving way to a medium-low slightly caramelized malt background. slight oxidized hop note on the background. APPEARANCE: light amber color and clear. medium ivory head with medium-low to low retention. TASTE: initial medium-low hop flavor (resin/pine), followed by a slightly caramelized and malty-sweet background. faint spicy rye note. balanced medium bitterness with a dry and slightly bitter finish. PALATE: medium-high body with medium-low carbonation. slightly alcohol presence. OVERALL: an imperial rye IPA starting to fade away.
