(Draught at Foeders, Amsterdam, 24 Aug 2018) Black colour with creamy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of black coffee, dark chocolate, black rye bread and roasted grain. Malty, roasted taste with black coffee, dark chocolate, sweet liquorice and a balanced coffee bitterness. Light body, with creamy mouthfeel. A slight sweetness. Lots of taste for a 3.5%. Rich and smooth, despite the light body. Very nice.

Draught @ the source. Clear dark brown color, with a red hue. Light beige head. Aroma's: roast, fruity, light vegetal. Retronasal it's oasted, light sweet, cocoa, fruity. Flavor is ever so slightly sweet, light fruity, roasted. Light bodied. Finishes with lots of roast, moderate bitter. True to the style, very pleasant.

Draft at the brewpub. Near black with a thick tan head. Aroma of dark malts, toffee, fudge and light roast. Flavour is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter. Light medium bodied with soft carbonation. Damn good for the low abv.
