Brewed for the summer of 2018, the Galaxy Summer IPA is a beautiful, tropical and refreshing beer. Its smooth and full of citrusy aromas. Galaxy and Citra hops give a refreshing, citrusy touch. There is tickle of orange peels and it lasts long after you sipped this IPA. Take note: its soft maltiness and refreshing qualities make this go down dangerously easy.

Bottle from Bierkoning, Amsterdam. Aroma is fruity hops with tropical fruits, citrus, grapefruit, soft malt, some pine and grass. Flavour is light to moderate sweet and medium bitter. Body is medium. A fine fruity IPA, all set for summer.

Tap at Bonte Koe, Leiden: Slightly hazy golden colored brew with an smoothly dry bitter taste, with hints of tropical fruits mostly of the citrus kind.

On tap at Proeflokaal Ardensnest. Pours a mostly clear orange with some sticky, white head. Nose has orange rind, some guava, a little raw pineapple, tangerine, candy, hand soap. Flavor has malt and candy, orange and tangerine, mango. Finishes dry, lightly biter. Just fine.

Grote Markt Summer Beer 2018. Tap. Clear golden with white head. Sweet malts, citrus and tropical, sweet doughy and garliccy oniony. Moderate sweet and bitter. Medium body and soft carbonation.

Pours clear golden with a lasting, frothy, white head; lots of lacing. Fresh aroma of pineapple, mango, citrus, floral hops, bready malt, pine. It tastes light fruity sweet, notes of tropical fruits, and medium hoppy bitter, pine note, some yeast & spice. Dry, piney & grassy hoppy finish, lingering spice & bready malt. Medium body, creamy texture, fizzy carbonation. Very refreshing and accessible, almost sessionable - a good IPA to convert the masses...

33cl Bottle from De Bierkoning. Clear golden orange colour, white head. Aroma of citrus, light tropical fruits, orange peel, hint of grain, spruce. Flavour is medium sweet, citrus, orange, some spruce, light malty, nice hoppy bitter finish. Light bodied. Nice.

Bottle at home. Almost clear golden with white head. Guava, papaya, dank weedy hops, soft marijuana, wet dishcloth, grassy, green fresh leaves, caramel malts, light crisp bready notes too. A bit over medium sweet and bitter. Medium bodied. Quite nice,

Tap at Arendsnest, 20th June 18. Pours clear straw colour. Aroma is quite yeasty. Taste is sharp, bitter, some yeast and grain. A little strange to start, but I warned to it.
