Panda at home, thanks to the Wingmane, 02/09/23. Moderately hazed orange with a decent just off white cap that thins to a swirl. Nose is mellow citric zest, grass, melon, papaya, airy malts. Taste comprises orange pith, melon, mango, pine resin, guava, lychee. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spliced with light juicy to resinous hop bitterness. Not bad.

On tap at Shelter, pours a pulpy yellow, cap of white head. Fruity nose, some esters, stone fruit, a bit of pith too. Flavor has more of the pine I wanted mixed with the stone fruits and melon. Pillowy finish.

Super hazy deep copper and orange coloured body with a dense tan head, about four to five centimetres tall that's microfoamed and fades slowly, all atop a 90 per cent opaque orange glow. Aroma of citrus fruit, dry hay and grass, a light dose of dough and yeast with some breadiness, but the citrus is by far the strongest. Medium-bodied; Rich orangey and citrusey bite that shows a sweet-ish tang/tangerine flavour with some nice balanced malt and a good sweetness from fructose and a little bit of honey and a faint dose of alcohol near the end. Aftertaste shows the sweetness, malt, yeast and rich citrusey flavours, all balanced very nicely with a great complexity and depth, with a smooth and fairly easy-drinking finish. Overall, a very nice Imperial-ish (I'd consider this a 'regular') New England IPA with great citrus flavours, a perfect malt balance, good sweetness and only a touch of alcohol. Great to try locally, especially on my way back up to the area for the first time since I cut my Christmas tree down! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Ye Old Spirit Shop in Frederick, Maryland on 29-November-2020 for US$7,19 while cutting down our family Christmas tree for the year, brewed on 11/20, sampled at my house here in Washington on 08-February-2021.

16 oz. Aroma has notes of pineapple, gummy peach rings, lemon peel, biscuits. Pours murky orange with a two finger off-white head with excellent retention and curtains of lace. Taste has a light pithy bitterness backed by significant juicy sweetness. Quality.
