6th July 2017, cask pint in Winstons Lounge, Edinburgh. Lovely, lovely beer, my sweet tooth really took to it. Deep brown body, the head a full beige crown of foam. As the name might suggest this is all about the malts, and there are plenty of them in this brew. Leaning towards the sweet malty molasses rather than the over roasted/burnt maltiness of some beers, this had caramel and toffee like aromas and flavours, but not ’over the top’ sweetness.
