Bottle shared in Canary Wharf - picked up online. Pours black-brown with a small, bubbly beige head. Medium sweet flavour, lots of old charred wood, tangy berries, ash, baking cocoa, mellow acidity. Full bodied, lightly chewy, with fine carbonation. Finishes with ample old, leathery berries, more background acidity, earth, coffee grinds, bitter dark chocolate, a nip of balsamic. Very interesting stuff. It grew on me a bit.

Bottle split at L6, thanks to LKS, 22/03/23. Black with a dirty tan cap that thins to a swirl. Nose is chocolate, spice, dark malts, earthy fruits, liquorice. Taste comprises toffee, dark malts, fruit slice, salty notes, modest barrel, pinch of spice, dried red berries. Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a kiss of booze. It's okay ... lacks some depth. Another one that by sticking 'Old Chimneys' in the name doesn't warrant a big score ... from me anyway !

Bottle at Craig's. Pours black, nose is chocolate, berries, raisin, taste is juicy berrries, floral, chocolate, grape, wood. Not as rich and chewy as I'd expect from PX.
