Panda at home, thanks to Fergus, 26/11/22. Almost clear golden with a just off white cap that clears to a swirl. Nose is smoked malts, grains, hedgerow, beechwood, light breads. Taste comprises toasted grains, bonfire, smoked pork, beechwood bite, hay bale, stewed fruits, lemon nip. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Solid well balanced smoked affair.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up From HOTM. Pours clear gold with a big, frothy white head. Lovely smokey character, light biscuity sweetness, some sun-kissed pale grain, hay. Light bodied with average carbonation. Dry finish, some leafy and lightly grassy bitterness, more rich smoke. Good stuff.

Can courtesy of Dann and Martha. Also multiple pours down the taproom. Light haze on a burnished bronze gold. Thick deep fairy dense, lasting off white foam. Looks tremendous. Nose has savoury smoke. A bit kipper-ish. A bit sausage-ish. Sweet wood smoke. Well matched herbal hop leaf notes. Taste is light sweet with savoury smoke. Soft herb hop bitterness. Very creamy and smooth on the palate. Rolling foamy carbonation. Nicely hefty bitterness to finish. I wouldn’t want a session on it but it’s a smoky number that drinks way easy.
