Bottle split with James, from an online peddler, 06/08/22. Lightly hazed salmon pink coloured pour with an off white cap that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is pink berry sherbets, grape must, straw, light funk, berry pips. Taste comprises red grape must, light vinous tones, funk, barnyard tones, damp straw, berry pips. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a tarte edge. Solid.

Bottle. Probably via the online shop. Slightly gloppy pour (here we fucking go) sits hazed medium gold. Fine blotchy white head. Nose has wheat. Soggy grain. Whiff of plastic. Some grape skin. Taste is pretty sweet with a light tartness. Flabby mouthfeel. Foamy carbonation. Bitter finish. Unreal how far Burning Sky have changed.

The aroma is vinous, jammy, vinous, winey, berry skin, granny smith apple, lactic and tangy. The taste is crisp, dry, vinous, tart, tangy, vinous, red grape, winey, damp oak, bramble, redcurrant, juicy, jammy, red apple skin, minimal alcohol and dull woody tannin with a drying finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Lovely, balanced. Moreish

Bottle at home in Hackney - sourced from Beer No Evil. Pours unclear grapefruit pink with a soft, creamy off-white head. A bit of sediment in there. Lightly sweet with mellow acidity, some light lemony notes, pale grain, vanilla, an almost buttery note. Medium bodied with delicate, massaging carbonation. Faint seedy bitterness in the finish, berry skins, very mild funk, wheat, soft lemony tang. Nice stuff overall.
