Bottle. Wine Rack Sheffield. Egg yolk yellow with a beautifuly dense Kernel swede. Not sure a pale ale could look better. Nose has pink grapefruit. Peach flesh. Ripe orange. It’s a juicy number. Taste is juicy bitter with some lightly spicy biscuit malt. Juicy clean mouthfeel. Fresh crisp carbonation. Lingering pink grapefruit bitterness to finish. Woosh.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from Figs & Grain. Pours lightly unclear yellow-gold with a frothy, pure white head. Lightly sweet with supple piney notes, clean pale bread, some lemon rind, nips of grapefruit. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Balanced piney resin in the finish, more supportive pale malts, a hint of apricot, tangerine peel. Excellent.

Bottle from Cork & Cask. Hazy golden body with a thick off-white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of grapefruit and lemongrass. Flavour of chalky malt and orange pith. Medium body with a frothy mouthfeel. Soft fizz. Bitter and pithy. Its mouthfeel is like a cask beer.
