Bottle shared by Colin on the train between Copenhagen and Malmo - black pour with tan head. Roasted malty aroma and taste, some tropical fruity notes, cocoa, and some slight burnt notes into the bitter finish. Nice! ---Sent via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Thanks to Colin for saving me one of these, Cheers Ears. Opaque dark brown beer, tidy pale tan head. Palate is light, semi dry and crisp. Mellow dark malts. A little dark chocolate and a trace of coffee. Nice minty pine hops. Smooth semi dry finish brings mild hop spice. Very nicely joined up and smooth. That minty vibe really lifts it.

Bottle split at the Bespin Cloud City W2, from an IP trade with an Ohibro, 05/05/15. Extremely dark mahogany brown with a decent beige covering. Nose is pine, charr, tea leaves, earthy hop, toffee, dark fruit shreds. Taste comprises pine needle, charr, roasted elements, blackcurant, dank hop strokes, caramel. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close with an earthy hop scrub. Decent CDA.

Bottle shared at Leightons place. Thanks to the Black IPA king. Clear caramel brown coloured pour with a halo of grayish head. Aroma is sweet caramel, malts, toffee, meaty, light pine hop. Flavour is composed of nutty, caramel Base grains, sticky pine hop, little hint of warming alcohol, sticky hop resin. Palate is medium full, sticky, highish carbonation. Firm pine bitterness, Semi dry finish. Semi sweet. Bit wishy washy.
