Bottle split at the Autumn Watford tasting, thanks to Fergus, 24/09/21. Pinkish orange with a faded crimson cap that veers edgeward. Nose is tarte berry fruits, wood must, heather, grains, damp straw, prickly pear, berry skins. Taste comprises sharp strawberries, light funk, tangy berry fruit compote, light acidic bimble. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light drying close with a balanced acidic rise. Solid flavoursome affair.

Bottle from BD online. It pours purplish - red with a decent white head. The aroma is bright, zingy, juicy, tart, tangy, bright blueberry, blackberry jam, sherbet, then it gets really funky, barnyard, damp oak, wet leaves, hay, floral accents and refreshers. The taste is crisp, bone dry, tart, tangy, puckering, splash of acidity, zesty citrus vibes, sour blueberry, blackberry, granny smith apple, sherbet, refreshers, sour candy, wood, funk, touch of minerality, floral, hibiscus, juniper and a splash of red wine with a drying, puckering blueberry skin finish. Medium body and moderate, fluffy carbonation. Best BD beer I've had in some time. Good depth and balance. Sour, funky and fruity. Very nice.
