The beer refermented on the fruit for 5 months, before maturing in bottle for a further 6 months.
The locally grown plums have brought a wonderful mix of red fruit, slate and the elusive petrichor aroma. A great balance of flavour.

Bottle, shared round Dan and Megan’s gaff, courtesy of Dan. Cheers Dan! Light haze on a deep crimson colour. Firm, lasting, baby pink foam. Nose has mineral and old lemon. Barely ripe plum. Vinous and oaky notes. Light brett. Taste is dry and tart with a touch of acidity. Moderate fruit sweetness. Clean and dry on the palate with brisk carbonation. Mineral and light fruit on the finish. The plum didn’t leap out the glass on this one, but that’s not to say it’s not a really good bev.
