Mills fruited share in Bristol. Pours clear golden yellow with a frothy white head. Aroma: sour lemon, horsey funk, rhubarb, straw. Taste: sweet & sour, tangy, bone dry, crisp, rhubarb, maybe some gooseberry. Medium body with foamy carbonation. My favourite of the 4 we sampled (no quince)

Bottle, shared round Dan and Megan’s gaff, courtesy of Andrey. Cheers comrade! Hazed deep yellow gold. Slim white head stays the course. Nose has fresh picked rhubarb. Stewed fruit. Flint. Hint of grape or gooseberry. Light on the funk compared to the others. Taste is nicely balanced sweet and sour, with an oxalic bitterness. Bright and lively on the palate with brisk carbonation. Tart rhubarb character on the finish.

Bottle split at the Grand Reunion Tasting at MM, group purchase , 20/05/21. Clear golden blonde with a decent white cap that retains well. Nose is citric sherbets, funk, green berry must, damp straw. Taste comprises rhubarb stalk, dusty green berries, barnyard bite, funk, lemon rind, white grape must. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a mellow acidic rip. Solid sour action ... best in class for me ... superb balance.

Bottle shared at Colin's place. Group purchase. A bright golden yellow with a frothy white head. Aroma is sour lemon funk, horsey funk, woody rhubard, waxy. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, sour, tangy rhubarb, custard sweets, gooseberry. Palate is crisp and tart, frothy carbonation. Superb.

Bottle shared in HW - cheers team! Pours unclear gold with a creamy, white head. Lightly sweet, sturdy acidity, some white grapes, rhubarb, lemony bread. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Clean and quenching finish. Very tasty, well balanced, quenching.
