Yes! Indyman! No! Not this year. But... we still brewed a beer in honour of this fab occasion, absent friends, absent fun... We'll just have to make our own festivals at home this year!
This is a mixed fermentation hoppy pale ale, 6% abv. So expect a bit of Brettanomyces funky character, along with a whole host of fruity hop and yeast-derived aromas and flavours.

Can from HoTM. It pours a rich yellow - gold with a thick, fluffy white head. The aroma is rather fruity, juicy fruit chewing gum, Pina colada, stone fruit, fruit cocktail, bit of funk, hay, barnyard, spice, wood and earth. The taste is firmly dry, slightly spicy, touch of bitterness, grass, floral, spicy, funk, brett, hay, barnyard, hint metallic almost, rather fruity, fruit cocktail and melon with a lasting funky dry finish. Medium body and moderate, fluffy carbonation. Nice fruit and funk. Works well.

Can at home picked up direct from the brewery. A clear golden yellow coloured pour with a fine white frothy head. Aroma is nice clean cereal grains, herbal hop, chamomile, corriander seeds, orange rind. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, rounded, cereal grains, hint of vanilla, sorachi ace like dill vibes. Just a smidge of brett, banana, herbal hop. Palate is semi sweet, rounded, mellow carbonation. Was expecting a bit more funk.

Can at home in Hackney - sourced via SMOD care of FERGUS. Pours clear gold with a frothy, white head. Light-medium sweet flavour a pleasant, restrained Belgian yeast character, some heat bread, light bitter hay, grass, nips of ripening tangerine, melon. Light to medium bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Balanced finish, more crispy wheat, Belgian yeast, biscuits, grass, citrus. Very tasty overall.

Can, picked up at the brewery. Soft haze on a pale gold. Fairly loose white foam settles to a sticky film. Nose has on the turn grapefruit and pineapple. Sweaty brett. Whiff of sulphur. Clean grain. Taste has a citrus sweetness, turning punchy bitter. Smooth mouthfeel. Some dryness. Soft carbonation. Drinks really easy. Lingering bitterness to finish. Bretty hops. What’s not to like?
