Can split at L6 at the Tipple's had tasting, thanks to Tipple, 17/04/19. Clear golden orange with a decent off white cap that thins to a swirl. Nose is bitter orange, ripe citric flesh, grass, sweet malt base. Taste comprises orange pith, caramel, sugars, grassy, light pine dusting. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with leafy hop bitterness. Average old skool leaning kind of a DIPA.

12 oz can poured, sent over by Jow. Thanks! Ripe orange fruit, tropical character, melon, slight sweet edge. Bright golden orange appearance. A double IPA on the sharp side, fruitiness doesnt quite bury the bitterness. Interesting and tasty.

Can shared in London - many thanks to Tippy. Pours clear (!) gold with a creamy, whit head. Has some pale grains, orange peel, dried pine, flinty dryness. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Drying finish, more pine needles, minerality. So so.

Level 6 bottleshare. Thanks to Tips for the can. Light haze on this gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Smooth and semi dry palate, reasonable fine carbonation. Smooth pale malts, modestly sweet. Light pine. Tangy spicy citric peel. Modest fresher citrus. Just a whisper of tropical fruits. Light finish. Okay. Mosaic exoticness not too obvious here. Decent all the same.

Deep hazy copper and bronze coloured body with a nice, two to three centimetre tall off-white head. Aroma of peaches, apricots, grapefruits, bitter pine and a dash of alcohol noticeable. Medium-bodied; Strong apricot and peach flavours at first that fade to more of an alcohol bite with some bitterness from all the hops, with a good balance of malts and sugars and ending with a dash of grapefruit and some floral elements as well. Aftertaste shows some honey and agave sweetness way at the beginning with more of the fruits noticeable behind that and ending with an almost assertively bitter finish with cleanser, some citrus, a lot of pine and a deep bite towards the end. Overall, a fairly well-balanced yet enjoyable beer with a lot of fruit notes, some sweetness and a West Coast IPA feeling (not an Imperial, just Standard West Coast) beer throughout, but from here in Virginia of all places. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Whole Foods in Pentagon City (Arlington), Virginia on 22-October-2017 for US$2,99 sampled at home in Washington in front of the store on 20-January-2018.
