Clear, bright amber color and almost no head. unbalanced. Very vineous, strong alc. Taste. Fruity.

Growler thanks to wingman Dave. A clear golden orange coloured pour with no head. Aroma is semi sweet woody bark, sour. Musty grape, wax. Flavour is composed of white grape wax musty, white grape, brown sugars, waxy. Palate is semi sweet, rounded. Moderate carbonation.. Really interesting and complex.

HB at home, big thanks to the Wingman, 07/08/19. Almost clear scotch gold with a light rose slant. Nose is prickly berries, mellow barrel tones, berry pips, bitter sweet fruit esters, butterscotch, light wood. Taste comprises light red berry fruits, barrel twang, faint white peppery spice, boysenberry, light bitter berry skins, sweet interlude, oak. Medium bodied with a light kick, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Really solid for the style... mellow barrel and drinks way below the ABV!

(Draught at Muted Horn, Berlin, 21 July 2018) Pale amber colour with brief, reddish white head. Fruity, vinous nose with notes of oak wood, black-currant and rose wine. Fruity, tart, vinous taste with oak wood, blueberries, black-currant, a touch of glue, honey, hints of mead and a slightly tart finish with a slight alcohol bite. Full body, with a touch of sweetness. Tasty, vinous and quite interesting. Nice one.

Vom Fass bei der Berlin Beer Week - Cloudwater TapTakeOverParty im Muted Horn 2018-07 getrunken. Also dieses Heidelbeer Ale wirkt irgend wie unausbalanciert mit seinen Aromen und Alkoholstärke.

Keg at Cotteridge Wines birthday; clear peach pour with a bubbly white head, aroma has tangy peach, taste has slight raspberry, quite vinous, hint of vanilla.

On tap at Heaton Hops. Pours clear dark gold with a pinkish hue. Aroma is jammy fruit, oak, spices. Taste is jammy fruit, red wine, strawberry and a little nutmeg. Quite odd.
