Cask at Pigs Ear 2018, day one, 04/12/18. Hazed reddish amber with a decent beige covering that retains well. Nose is stewed fruits, acetic, pissy tones, vinous trace, berry fruits. Taste comprises medicianl notes, phenols, smokey linger, stewed frutis, cake mix, Laphroaig tang, barrel tones. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. A tad mixed up ... very slow sipper but doesn't work for me.

Cask at Pigs Ear 2018 - London. Day 1. Pours clear ruby-gold with a small, foamy head. Aggressive barrel character, some damp wood, earth, old berries, peat. Full bodied, chewy, with fine carbonation. Warming and drying finish, some rich alcohol, more peat and tangy wood. Not bad.

Pigs Ear. Cask. Hazy orange amber beer, small bubbly pale tan head. Smooth palate, semi dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Weird fruits, tastes peaty barrel. Ripe fruits. Citric peel, ripe. Smooth finish. Weird!
