Can, 5.8% ABV. Dark brown. A tan head fades to a fat coat from an inch. Aroma of coffee, caramel, moderate roast. But it's softly mouthfilling with some chocolate and creaminess before enough bitterness and roast to balance the caramel sweetness. Agreeable drop.

Pours reddish black with a thin creme head. Aroma of coffee and chocolate. Taste has burnt coffee notes, residual mocha. Palate has continuation of the aforementioned. Good.

Bottle at Maakun’s. Black with light tan head. Sweet and deep roasted. Chocolatey and oaty, also quite some charcoal. Sweet and moderate bitter. Over medium body and soft carbonation.

Bottle shared thanks to kermis. Black with dark beige head. Roasted malts, ash, tar, blackberries, dried figs, more sweet berries. Quite fruity! Under medium sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with slightly creamy feel. Tasty.

Thick creamy light brown head stayed on a black still body. Berry, aniseed, lactose & malt aroma. Medium bodied, soft, oily & creamy on the tongue with a clean back. Demerara, roasted, chocolate, liquorice, bonfire toffee, malt & nutty tastes with a tangy, slightly citrus finish.

Bottle. Color: Black, beige head. Aroma: Sweetish roasted malt. Taste: Smooth, roasted malt, notes of coffee, mocha and light hints of chocolate. Creamy mouthfeel. Long lasting roasted malt finish with moderrate bittery palate. Medium sweet, light bitterness. Medium body, below average carbonation. Nice oatmeal stout.
