11/8/2019. Bottle from the Towcester Mill Brewery Shop. Pours dark gold with an average sized off-white head leaving nice lacing. Aroma of malt, caramel, buttered toast, hops and fruit biscuit. Medium sweetness, light to moderate bitterness. Moderate body, oily texture, bit above average carbonation. Sweet finish, though a little more bitterness comes through.

Cask at GBBF 2015, Day 3 - London. Pours clear gold with a rich, frothy off-white head. The nose holds lots of biscuity malts, some cereal, hints of citrus. Light to medium sweet flavor with more pale, bready malts, cereal, light bitter hay, grain husk. Light bodied with fine carbonation; great condition. Nicely balanced finish with some bready malt sweetness, mellow bitter hay, more husky grain, light cereal. Nice beer overall.

9th April 2015: gravity pour at the Isle of Man CAMRA beer festival. Golden brew with a white topping. Decent malty nose with some orange notes in the background, the taste followed in the same fashion. Glad it did not turn into a citrusy flavoured beer (lemon style) like so many out there currently. This rang my bell and I really enjoyed it.
