A very special beer. The nose is intoxicating, featuring dark brown sugar and mid-range hops. The taste profile is dynamic, with rich molasses, biscuity malt, prunes and both ripe tropical fruit and grapefruit in the significant but balanced hops. The body is rich and a touch syrupy.

Bottle from Stone in Asagaya. Pours a deep amber with a medium sized off-white head that dissipates fairly quickly. Grassy nose with some sweet caramel malt and tropical fruit in there as well. Fairly well-balanced but edging toward bitter with a bitter finish. Lots of grass and tropical fruit on the finish. Not bad.

Bottle to glass, pours a deep amber with reddish tones and topped with a thick and creamy tan head. Citrus and floral hop aroma, lightly sweet. Taste is flavorful with sweet hops and moderate bitterness. A little bit of tropical fruit. Some faint malt in the background, but plenty of hop dominance. A nice IRA.
