Small yellowish head; hazy red-amber beer. Caramel², going to toffee, bit of USA hops, faint piney aroma. Bitter, caramel flavour without the sweetness. Autumn leaves, a bit Bock-like. Finish is empty, both on MF as on flavour. Bit wry towards astringency. Quite slick, medium bodied at best. Not too sweet, the rest is average. Thanks to Stef!

Bottle shared at chriso’s Post-GBBF 2014 Tasting - London. Pours clear amber with a frothy tan head; actually, it looks great. Not a bad beer overall, some lightly toasted dough, brown bread, leaves, grains. Light bodied with average carbonation. Finishes with some further toasted grains, light earthy bitterness, leaves. OK. Nothing too wrong here.

Bottle from Morrisons, Salford. Deep red colour with a very thin head. Has a fruit infused malt aroma and taste that’s a touch sugary.

Bottle shared at Chriso’s post GBBF minidig, 16/08/14. Golden amber with a moderate off white covering. Nose is malty, biscuit, fruit notes. Taste comprises biscuit malt, papery notes, fruit, pretty thin, hint of toffee. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close. So very so.
