Drat. A black beer with a dark brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, alcohol, soy sauce, and dark chocolate. The flavor is sweet with notes of wood, alcohol, over ripe fruits, soy sauce, and roasted malt, leading to a dry finish.

[ As Kongebryg Imperator Kejser ].Clear dark brown color with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, tart fruit, berries, light smoke - wood. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, berries - black currant, roasted, chocolate, smoke - wood. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20150528]
