Bottle in Mobile. Thanks Luke! Pours a cloudy yellow orange appearance with a fluffy white head. Floral, orange citrus aroma with some white wine, zest, and lime. Amazing aroma. Juicy citrus, chewy bread, crust, heavy lemon lime flavor. A little cheese. Finishes a bit tart. Awesome. I’m a sucker for camomile/floral, citrus zest beers like this (see Trinity Saison Provincial). Sooooo good. Flora good. Fuck yeah! Folks, this is one of the most enjoyable, easy drinking, flavorful beers of my life. Oh Lord, I just shit my pants. In fifty years, this will be standard for beers, not your grandpa’s pissant Alpine Zwickel Pilsner. This is God. If this were a song, it would be God Only Knows by the Beach Boys. I don’t like Brian Wilson and I don’t like Shaun Hill. But I will accept the divine when I taste it. Maybe the best beer ever. Like fucking virgin Scarlett Johansson. Taste God. The big bang is not a theory. It just happened in my pants. God bless America.

Bottle cheers to L-Bro. It pours cloudy yellow with a small white head. The nose is fresh, floral, citrus rind, lemongrass, light spice, juicy apricot, zest and straw. The taste is crisp, bitter, floral, lemon rind, vinous, white grape, light spice, apricot, earth and grassy/herbal notes, with a dry finish. Medium body, fine carbonation and foamy mouth-feel. Soft, juicy and pretty easy going.

Bottle shared in London - sourced from the brewery. Pours unclear yellow with a creamy white head. The aroma has notes of tart and rindy lemon, slight hay. Light sweet flavor with tangy lemon, some melon, tangerine, hay, relaxed funk. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Nicely balanced on the finish, more citrus fruits, moderate tartness, restrained funk, subtle dry wood. Well, it’s gorgeous beer. Wildly drinkable.

From notes at last week’s tasting. Aroma has a light grain note with medium light oak tannins. Moderate chamomile and light lemongrass that becomes stronger as it warms. Pours a slightly cloudy golden color with a thin white head that recedes quickly to the edge where it lingers. Flavor has a light sweetness. Moderately string chamomile with medium light lemongrass notes and light oak. Medium bitterness. Mouthfeel is medium light bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a nice saison with more lemon grass character as it warms. Nice light grain notes. Fairly clean yeast profile.

This one was limit 6 or a case or something like that and I got one of the last ones when I was in line @ limit 1 per person. My sole bottle! Left upright in the cellar for 3 weeks. Enjoyed at 45F split 2-ways.

A - Just a slightly hazy lemony-orange. 2 finger white creamy bubbly head that fades quickly to a thin carbonation line.

S - Nose is very herbal, like a field of wild flowers and a tiny level of brett spice with pepper.White grape and lemon juice.

T - This is quite good! A perfect blend of spice, herb, honey, lemon, orange rind and acidic tartness but very soft. There’s a lot of flavor here. Finish has a touch of vanilla and graham cracker.

M - Nice mouthfeel, bottle conditioning, crisp dry finish.

O - This is a really great beer. I like it considerably more than the initial base. The tartness is controlled and the flavors mellowed and well blended with the time in oak. Wish I had more.
