On tap at Darby's, pours black with a small dark brown head. Aroma brings out lots of maple, followed by gentle bourbon, and roasted malt. Flavour is very maple-dominated, with plenty of bourbon, lots of vanilla, and gentle roast. There's a nice sticky, maple-y character that dominates. A little light for a BA impie, but the flavours are nice. Solid.

Poured from the tap. Near black with minimal tan head. Lots of maple with some bourbon smoke, underlying oats, chocolate and roast malt. Comes together quite nice, though a bit sweet. Enjoyable, especially at 7.7%.

On tap. Pours black with lint to tan head. Aromas of creamy chocolate and roasted malts; muted by nitro. Flavors of creamy chocolate, smoky bourbon, edgy maple syrup and oily roasted malts. Very good for the ABV. Would be impressive with big malt base.

Quite black, nitro head. Sugary maple aroma, touch of vanillins, too. Sweet, mellow, the oats and nitro make for an exceptionally smooth creamy body, and there's enough malt complexity and the maple is subtle. This is pretty refined. I like it.
