From bottle. Pours amber, with low white relatively fine head. Aroma is intense and also somehow persistent, giving bergamot, fruits under spirits, and caramel. Body is medium, with just some stickiness. Taste is balanced between sweet and bitter. Finish leaves you some sweetness.

Bottle at the Great British Beer Festival 2014, Day 1 - London. Pours clear, shiny gold with a white cream head. Tasty, with some herbs, light caramel, pale bread and faint ginger. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Nicely balanced to finish with further herbal qualities, lightly toasted bread, some pine and ripening citrus. Nice.

Bottle from GBBF 2014 and drunk at home. Hazy brown amber colour lasting beige head. Malty hoppy aroma. Decent amber ale. Touch of sting on the finish. OK amber ale. Does what it says on the tin. Fine. Not exciting but absolutely fine.
