Cask at Firkin Tap, Warrington – at 3.9%. Pours a hazy ruby red with a small foamy off-white head. Aroma is vaguely fruits plus some hints of malts. In the mouth it is sweet and creamy, with flavours of dried fruit, caramel and thick cut marmalade. Later on some bitterness creeps in and this lasts into the finish, which is also slightly fruit. Not bad – fairly tasty for its strength.

Cask @ GBBF14. Smooth sourish beginning. Malt, smooth and dry. Nice ale characteristic, hints of smooth malt, even fudge. The aftertaste is a bit sourish, nice and smooth, malt, dry but still hints of sweetness. Very nice brew!
