Bottle from the brewery online shop. Appearance - golden to amber. Fluffy off-white head. Nose - orange or possibly grapefruit. Some malt sweetness. Taste - orange and light biscuit. Palate - light bodied, fairly zesty through the finish. Overall - a little more modern in style than the other bottle offerings from the brewery.

Cask at the Oddfellows Arms, Falmouth, 25/04/16. Clear golden blonde with a decent off White cap that retains well. Nose is citric hops, floral wash, tangerines, soft bread. Taste comprises juicy citric flesh, grassy, floral, lemon rind, soft bread dough, melon. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close with a juicy hop flicker. Solid citric sessioner .. ABV quite high for a golde ... have come across APA’s less hoppy than this.

Bottle from the little supermarket at Mawgan Porth, north-west of Newquay. Deep gold with a thin white head. Possibly a tad too fizzy. Mild but tasty tropical fruits followed by lemon and mandarin. Sweetish but with just enough bitterness to make it very satisfying and more-ish. A great golden ale. Thanks!
