Can, Erebus 2024, enormous thanks FIl for sharing! Almost pitch black body, small off-white head. Creamy, smooth, huge roasty coffee and caramel aroma. Lean, dry taste, creamy caramel notes, light coffee, ending bitterish, simple, bit oily, lovely taste, low alcohol warmth. Again, simple, but this is very nice.

473mL can. Pours pitch black with medium tan head. Aroma full of roasted malt and milk chocolate. Flavour also big on the roasted malt and chocolate with a nice amount of bitterness from the hops. Mouthfeel very thick and smooth; not syrupy. Not super complex, but very nice.

Poured from 473mL can @Weathered 2023. Very dark brown with small beige head. Woody roasted malt, touch of molasses, okay.

473mL can, pours jet black with a medium brown head — that's dark. Aroma is full of big roasted malt, plenty of hops, and some woody notes. Flavour is big and roasty, with dark roasted malt, wood, and plenty of hops to back. Fairly dry finish, showcasing that big roast character. Not the most complex but well-constructed and sturdy. Excellent.

Draught at the brewery. Dark brown, has a nice toffeeish malt aroma with some dark chocolate. Bitter, liquorice, toast, dark chocolate. Dark fruit complexity. This is fun. I like the lighter more complex pocket. An impy for old school beer nerds.
