Can from The Gull, North Vancouver
Dark brown colour. Aroma of milk chocolate, cacao, vanilla. Lean body, moderately sweet; some flavour of rosted malts and chocolate, then light vanilla, roasted nuts (which could be the maple), and alcohol.
Good.

16oz @ Alex's. Appearance: brown with a nice beige head. Aroma: roasted malt, some chocolate, a bit of sweetness. Taste: along the same side, quite roasty and bitter, pretty dry, light maple syrup notes in the finish. Overall: plain, and too roasty for me.

473mL can, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out plenty of waffle cones, light vanilla and a touch of maple syrup — pretty restrained. Flavour is full of medium roast, waffle, and maple syrup. Not the most complex body or flavour profile but pleasant.

Quite sweet, cereal milk level sweet. Low bitterness. Ok I get the maple and vanilla in there. It is a bit on the sweet and unbalanced side for me.

Poured from 473mL can. Dark brown with virtually no head. Some stroop waffle, vanilla, super feint hint of maple syrup on the nose (none of the taste), light touch of booze. Average.

473 ml can. Pours a dark brown with moderate tan head. Aromas of French toast, lactose, creamy milk chocolate and soft roasted malts. Flavors of sugary chocolate and roasted malts. Not getting maple syrup or much in the way of waffles or vanilla. Sweet up front with bitter finish. Odd based on its description.
