Poured from 473mL can. Clear auburn brown with small beige head. Cherry, bourbon, burnt roast malt. Too burnt. Has some okay notes, but just too much burnt quality here making it unbalanced and overpowered.

On tap. Pours a very dark mahogany with light head. Aromas of woody chocolate, charred oak, subtle berries and toasted malts. Flavor follow same. More dry chocolate than barrel. Nice enough but a but disappointing based on description.

16oz @ Matt's shared with Phill and other Matt's friends. Appearance: brown. Aroma: smoky, dark fruits, sweet, cocoa. Taste: along the same lines, some acidityfr cherries. Overall: just ok.

473mL can, pours a clear dark reddish brown with a small beige bead. Aroma brings out lots of burnt cocoa nibs, roast, a hint of cherries, and light bourbon. Flavour has smoky bourbon, tart cherries and burnt roast. Very light palate, with a slightly tart cherry and burnt finish. Not particularly complex but the flavours are somewhat integrated. Decent.

Medium brown and some opacity. Cherries on the palate, a fair bit of chocolate. Medium body and sugars, probably could use more, but it works well enough.
