Golden, minimal head, nose of grains. Light to medium body. Bittersweet taste, the hops is present. Malty ending. I’ve had better a lot of Brittish beers.

From cask. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is mild fruity and slight grassy. Bitter, herbal and toasted. Dry and herbal hoppy into the finish. Dry and bitter.

Cask at the Castle, Bedford. Light to mid-gold. Perfectly clear with a wonderful little white head. I think I’m going to enjoy it until I smell it. Ugh. Light floral hop overcome by rubber and plastic. The taste is odd but supplies me with one of the most unusual flavour rhymes in all of beer tasting: mastic and plastic. Artificial. This is what robots drink. Nice gentle mouthfeel for what it’s worth. Delivered to the wrong universe; humans don’t willingly drink this.

GBBF Day 4. Cask. The great Harrisoni/madmitch76 walkabout. Almost clear gold beer, good bubbly white head. Light palate with fine carbonation. Light pale malts, touch of floralness. No hops. Rubbish!

On tap @ Ryries. Appearance - golden with a decent head. Nose - cereal mostly but some citrus and definitely some honey in there too. Taste - more of the same. Honey nut cornflakes still. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and the finish is fairly well balanced. Overall - better than I expected. Decent IPA/Bitter.
