We’ve taken our Nectarous Sour Ale and added lime, habanero, and a touch of salt to create a unique take on this Four Winds classic. Our Nectarous base combines with the lime to create a familiar tartness that is highlighted by a slight umami flavour coming from our use of habaneros and salt. A touch of bitterness is brought on by the combination of lime with Citra and Galaxy hops. Put this all together and you have the ideal patio beer for scorching hot months we have ahead of us.

Pale and hazy. Jalapeño is evident, lime maybe, tequila or at least some tequila barrel usage here. Good balance and decently made for a not good concept.

Poured from 473mL can (pkg 27 Jun 2024). Hazy blonde with small dissipating white head. Super feint habanero note, dull lime flavour in the background. Timid and boring.

On tap at Four Winds, pours a hazy blonde with a small white head. Aroma is full of yogurt, a hint of spiciness, and some lime. Flavour is like a dulled regular Nectaorus — tons of yogurt, dulled by the spicy peppers that don't really burn or impart much flavour, with a splash of lime. On the finish, there's a hint of habanero without any spiciness. Dulled version of regular Nectarous — just another crappy kettle sour.

473 ml can. Pours a dull gold with moderate foamy head. Aromas of nectarines, soapy lime and sharp wheaty malts. Flavors of nectarines, tart limes, a little roasted pepper and more sharp wheaty malts. A little more tart than the original Nectarous. Peppers are sutble and a nice add, bringing a bit of heat to the finish. Very good.
