440ml can 'Celebrating the 60th Anniversary of Asda', this one at 4.5%. Clear light copper amber pour with white head; decent retention and lacing. Aroma of pale malt with leafy hop, fruit cake and a touch of caramel. Flavour is woody and leafy with sweet cake, stone fruits, bread crust and caramel. Light to mid bodied with a nice fine carbonation. A good bitter.

Can from Asda. Clear deep golden body with an off-white head. Low carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of wood, earth, berries and fruit cake. Flavour of earthy spice and brown bread. Thin to medium body with a slick texture. Soft fizz. This is an excellent example of the style, at a very good price.
