Spaceman’s rebel twin sister differs from the classic one thanks to the addition of a generous amount of Pink Grapefruit peels during maturation. The citrus fruit changes and amplifies the aromatic profile, making the beer more refined and a little less bitter. This alter-ego is not afraid of any comparison.

Draught @ Fermentoren, Aarhus. Pours golden with an offwhite head, lacings. Aroma of malt, light grainy, sweet fruity, light citrus, red grapefruit. Flavor is malt, fruity hops, citrus, mild grapefruit. Medium body, average to lively carbonation, dry and light bitter finish. 020416

Amber, moderate hazy body, with a massive, stable, creamy, lacing, white head.
Aroma with dominant grapefruit zest and flesh, passion fruit, citrus, some orange, some biscuit.
Tastes also of dominant grapefruit, with some berries, some tropical fruits, citrus, biscuit.
Medium, slick mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes bitter, a bit dry, zesty, with lots of grapefruit again, subtle sweet notes.
Tasty. Not very complex, mainly with grapefruit, but very fresh and well balanced, not too bitter and really quaffable. Lovely, straight stuff.

Golden color with huuge head. Aroma is huge grapefruit, as in Grapefruit Sculpin, a bit maltiness below. Taste is a big grapefruit punch, quite bitter, very refreshing. Think of this as Grapefruit Sculpin applied to Spaceman! I like!

On tap @Brasserie 4:20 (Rome). Pours golden with a little white head. Aroma of grapefruit, lemon zest, malt. Flavour is medium malty with strong notes of grapefruit, dry end but not so drinkable. Medium to high body, medium to high carbonation. Extreme, and a bit one-dimensional.
