Spaceman’s rebel twin sister differs from the classic one thanks to the addition of a generous amount of Pink Grapefruit peels during maturation. The citrus fruit changes and amplifies the aromatic profile, making the beer more refined and a little less bitter. This alter-ego is not afraid of any comparison.

Keg at The Rutland Arms, Sheffield. Pours clear golden amber with a thin white head. Aromas of grapefruit and resin, some caramel. Taste is bitter, pithy grapefruit. Bitter finish.

On tap at Mastro Birraio. Cloudy golden orange with medium white head. Fantastic grapefruit in aroma and flavour, easy drinkable, dry bitter finish. Medium bodied.

F: medium, white, good retention. C: gold, bit hazy. A: grapefruits, orange, floral, citrus, bit juicy tropical fruits. T: light malty backbone, watery grapefruits and orange, bit mango, decent bitterness, very nice, refreshing, fully enjoyed, sample draft @ BXLBeerFest 2018 in Brussels.

25/VIII/18 - sample @ BXL Beer Festival - BB: n/a (2018-1070) Thanks to the Belgian and Dutch Ratebeer crews for sharing today's beers!

Clear yellow beer, small creamy white head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: lovely, lots of tropical fruits, bit sweetish, lovely, passion fruits, mango. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: soft bitterness, lemony, hoppy, bit resinous, grapefruit, lots of mandarins. Aftertaste: more orange flavoured candy, pretty bitter, nice stuff!

7 3 7 3 14Draft at BXL Beerfest ‘18, Brussels. Hazy golden orange with a white head. Aroma of grapefruit, biscuity malt and light fruits. Flavour is moderate sweet and heavy bitter. Medium bodied with light carbonation.
