Cask (handpump) @ GBBF 2014, Great British Beer Festival, London Olympia, Hammersmith Road, London, England W14 8UX. [ As Maypole Mayfly ].Clear medium amber color with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, nutty, earthy. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, nutty, earthy malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20140813]

Draft at the Great British Beer Festival 2014, Day 4 - London. Pours clear, rich amber-gold with a foamy white head. Nice bitter, with good toasted grain character, dried berries, leafy hops. Light bodied with fine carbonation; good condition. Dry old berry character in the finish, more leafy bitterness, grainy and bready lightly toasted malts. Classical bitter.

From cask. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is toasted malty, light fruity. Bitter, light herbal toasted. Bitter and medium dry into a slight herbal finish.

Cask @ GBBF 2014. Pours a clear pale amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty caramel aroma. Fruity malty citrus hoppy flavor. Hasa ffruity malty caramel hoppy finish.

GBBF Day 4. Clear gold beer, no real head. Palate is light and dry. Modest fine carbonation. Mild malts sweetness. Insipid fruits. Dry finish. Dull.

Cask at GBBF ’14, day 4, 15/08/14. Clear amber with moderate off white spotting and edgework. Nose is bready malt, light vegetal notes, spice, peas. Taste comprises caramel, straw, bready notes. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close. Poor effort.

Sampled @ GBBF day 2. Clear orange copper color, small off-white head. Smell and taste malts, a bit plant-like, iron, leaves, vegetables and slightly bitter. Average body and carbonation. Don’t like it at all.
