8 3 8 3 16Bottle at Moeder Lambic, Brussels. Hazy red with a pink head. Aroma of fresh blackcurrent, lightly tart dark berries and oak. Flavour is moderate sweet and sour. Medium bodied with light carbonation.

Bouteille 75cl, BB 13/07/2019. Acajou, col fin rosé. Arôme au bouquet marqué de cassis, rétro fin de barrique, vin sur qcq effluves tanniques, note terreuse des cassis avec un bon bouquet fleuri frais + fruité rouge, raisin et léger boisé. Palais est finement acerbe voire aigrelet venant du cassis sans être surfait et trop dominant. Le profil reste sec, pointe épicée pour une effervescence moyenne-haute. Râpeux en bouche, grinçant aux dents avec une bonne acidité du cassis qui reprend sur la fin de bouche. Correcte, peut-être un peu trop en 75cl, même pour deux personnes.

750 ml. bottle split by 3 @ CML Fontainas. Tasty stuff but lacks complexity, lots of blackcurrant with some red wine, lots of fruit but lacking on the funk & complexity expected of a prime sour,… Still very nice beer. Bright cassis juice red appearance, basically no head, a few bubbles. Faintly metallic in the nose, massive blackcurrant juice, some cranberry, faint red wine. Huge blackcurrant juice sow sourness, there is some funk in the finish but very brief & minor, little carbonation, low red wine.
