Cask, Bodega, Newcastle. Pallid gold looks with a thin white head. Nose was restrained grassy hop alongside a little fruit. Flavour was similar, clean and crisp. Slickish mouthfeel. Dry bitter finish. Solid session fodder.

Cask at CPK on 14th January 2012. Clear very pale gold with off white foam. Hoppy fruity aroma then exquisite liquid with pipe smoke, wood smoke and bitterness. Gorgeous herby touch then a delectable end with herb hoppiness and Brussels sprouts bitterness. Light body and velvety texture.

Cask, handpump at The Shoulder of Mutton, Thursday 27th Oct 2011. Pours gold, it almost sparkles, looks wonderful with a great nice white head atop. Crisp, clean with biting hops, grapefruit comes through, dry at end, lovely beer, in superb nick. A7 A5 T8 P4 Ov15 3.9
