Tasting at Ryan's, can
Hazy to cloudy blond colour. Nice aroma, lemongrass, sage, some tropical hops. Lean mouthfeel, low residual sweetness, delicate white bread (or oats) base, with good hop aromatics, tropical fruits, some cat piss; good combination of alcohol and bitterness.
Very pleasant.

Poured from 473mL can. Hazed gold with small white head. Touch of onion, slightly tropical and stone fruit, mild juicy. Decent.

Can from City Beer, SF. Pale and hazy. There's a thin head. On the nose, it's fairly fruity, and on the palate, very soft pale malts. There's a mellow stone fruit hop note, good pale malts. It really doesn't come across like an Imperial IPA. Good stuff, has that refined house character and it works well for this style.

Poured from a 16 oz can dated May 24, 2022. Aroma is fairly hop forward with lots of grapefruit, tangerine and tropical citrus with hints of passion fruit. Light dank, resin and pine notes. Light cracker malt notes and hints of alcohol. Pours a slightly hazy, yellow-gold color with a medium large, thick, pillowy white head that recedes to a small film that lingers. Moderate lacing and small legs. Flavor is somewhat sweet with light cracker malt notes. Moderately strong bitterness and light alcohol notes. Moderate hop notes of grapefruit, tangerine and tropical citrus with lighter notes passion fruit and berry. Light dank, resin notes with hints of pine. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a solid IPA with nice hop notes. Not particularly fruity, but good citrus and dank notes that work well with the light, somewhat crisp malt profile.

Tap. Pours hazy golden, merlin creamy white head, great lacing. Aroma is super dank, pot, passiobfruit, armpits, chives. Flavor is light sweet, very light bitter. Medium body. Really good. Nelson done well. Not sure what to say about Andrews experience, must have been an old keg or bad lines.
