Pine at Blaze. Hits the standard NE IP notes without standing out in any way. Hazy yellow, white head, Grapefruit, pine, pot notes. Light sweet, minimal bitterness. Bit of hop burn. Medium body.

16oz can pours a pulpy yellow with some sudsy white head. Nose has some lemon curd, melon, some hand soap and herbs. A little paint on the nose. Flavor has vanilla and lemon curd and some passion fruit. Melon has faded. Finishes a little creamy.

Super hazy golden and orange-tinted body with a raw honey glow that is about 80 per cent opaque. Aroma of citrus, light mango, a dash of pine and some noticeable fresh-cut grass and resinous notes with a good deal of alpha acids in the nose. Medium-bodied; Strong grassy and very citrusey flavours show from the hops way up front with a nice and supportive malt backbone with a ton of orange juice notes, but a light peppery and dry bite, especially at the end. Aftertaste is robust, very well-balanced and showing some deep bitterness from the hops but a nice balance from malts with a smooth sweetness from the fruit juice sweetness makes for a nice beer throughout. Overall, a nice and robust, very fruity and juicy New England IPA from the heart of New England, but purchased and sampled here way down in Florida - perhaps even better! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Knightly Spirits in Orlando (Orange Blossom Trail), Florida on 30-December-2020 for US$5,69 sampled in my hotel room around the corner here in Lake Buena Vista, Florida on New Year's Day, 01-January-2021.
