Cask@Charlies Bar, Copenhagen –dark amber brown pour with off white head. Toasty malty aroma and taste, some caramel and toffeish sweetness with some fruity spice coming in, nutty twiggy and light herbal hoppy into the finish.

Cask at The Claret, Addiscombe. It pours rich brown with a medium white head. The aroma is bitter - sweet, toffee, toasted nut, earth and leather. The taste is bitter, quite spicy, leather, toasted nut mild astringency, toffee, earth and berry skin with a dry, leathery finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Overall its OK but perhaps a bit too spicy and woody to smash back a few pints in a row.
