Can at home in Hackney - picked up at Oddbins (RIP) most likely. Pours clear gold, effervescent, with a billowing frothy white head that settles down quite quickly. Basic gear, has some sugary wheat bread, a bit of dough, honey, lemon meringue. Light bodied with lively, massaging carbonation. Finishes with further citrus meringue, a nip of salt, dry wheat bread. Simple, fine.

Keg at the Euston Tap, West Lodge, 11/05/17. Lightly hazed golden with a decent off white cap. Nose is lemon rind, straw, light herbal notes, grains. Taste comprises lemon tinged straw, light white pepper, grass, hedgerow, herbal tones, light bread dough, faint yeast tickle, vanilla essence. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Refreshing enough drop .... fine for the style.

Bottle at home, picked up from Fresh Fields Market most likely. It pours hazy golden with a medium white head. The aroma is soft, mellow, banana, cracker, cereal, some spice, melon and cucumber. The taste is crisp, clean, creamy banana, melon, stone fruits, cucumber and bread with a soft finish. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. A pretty alright white ale. Refreshing enough.
